You can get that piecemeal, or you could probably find a deal on a starter kit that would have all you need at a discount. With either acoustic or electric guitars, you will need to purchase a case (as little as $30 for a soft 'gig bag' case) and other accessories like strings, picks, a strap, a tuner, and a cleaning cloth.
